Dunno how that could be an exhaust manny since it's inbetween the blower and the intake manifold, completely above the head !!!!

Ain't sure exactly what's goin on there, but I wish I did. What I see there doesn't make any sense smoking smiley

It might be a flathead engine - if so the exhaust near the top of the cylinder might make sense.
