You mean like how New York City socialist Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran
Mamdani has advocated for “the abolition of private property” ?

"If there was any system that could guarantee each person housing, whether
you call it the abolition of private property or you call it, you know, just a
statewide housing guarantee, it is preferable to what is going on right
now," Mamdani said. "People try and play like gotcha games about these
kinds of things, and it's like, look, I care more about whether somebody has a
home," he said.
Well, oh my, clutch those pearls, here's one guy who qualifies as far left after
making an off the cuff remark speaking solely about helping the homeless. Not an
acceptable or viable solution but not his sole solution either, hardly a Mao or
Castro in a town that already has had rent control. The people generally
referred to by the right in the US as the radical left are barely left of
center. Meanwhile, on the radical right, there's the clown in Los Angeles who
thinks it's amusing to refer to the Nazi death camps as a solution to poverty
and homelessness. Which one is actually alluding to killing people and which is
looking for a solution to help them?
