I live in a red city in a red state but Florida has visitors and residents who come from all over the world so there is a wide variety of people here, including illegals who mostly work and look after their families like everyone else and usually try to avoid trouble so they can stay here under the radar. Of course, there's the fabled "Florida man" around causing trouble now and then, and this little corner of the state even had a serial killer back in the 90's who preyed on the homeless and gay men, so I guess he was a hero to the likes of p_j. Speaking of homeless, the climate attracts a lot of them too because death from hypothermia isn't really a thing here. And then there's the guy who used to live across the street from my mom with his wife and stepsons. Those kids and my kids played together and he seemed like a normal enough guy. He had a septic system company and even bought materials for it from the company I worked for. Then one day an 18 year old girl who was waiting at home for the septic guys to show up and do some work disappeared and she never seen again until somebody found her remains in the woods months later. That guy and his employee are sitting in prison now. A few months ago there was a drug deal gone bad just a few doors down from where I lived for almost 30 years; the dealer shot his customer dead when the customer pulled a gun and tried to rip him off. Self defense? Around the same time a cop was shot to death at a gas station I've filled up at many times. News flash: red states and red cities are not crime free, except in some people's dreams.

This is highly ironic... PJ, you're one of the biggest posters of intense anti-liberal content here. Something something about a pot calling a kettle black. Might I remind you of your STFU post just a couple days ago and how welcoming that was to other users with different viewpoints.

You said there is nothing funny here anymore but this post is honestly hilarious.

Yeah, I'm one of the OG members and I don't come here much anymore because of the politicial crap that is prevalent but since I'm on the other side of your coin you may wish to realize that all views have two sides, and yours is just as valid for me, only in reverse.

Ban all political content from both sides and I'm good!

I used to enjoy the comments more than the pics because pics were pics then, not memes.
Memes don't really need a comment, just a like or dislike.
But most people are easily triggered so just have to shit allover it.
It's of course mostly US stuff but it is common to the entire "western" world. The USA is just like the celebrity gossip column, you can't resist sometimes, and if the headline was Canada or Australia then you would skip it.
Just remember, argueing on the internet...

Wrong. I'm not a hateful liberal asshole that celebrates the death of someone whose lifestyle is different than mine. That is what you do.

If you visited this site on a regular basis and were minimally observant, then you would see my political posts are almost always in response to quasi's or the anonymous coward's posts. We had president Biden for 4 years and I disagreed with damn near everything his administration did but I didn't come here on a daily basis and whine about it.
