Well I never started drinking, so boo. It means you have to face up to how bad
life is and problems need solutions - not quite the way I put it when I was 17
but that's the direction my life has taken.
I'm now living in a town where the vast majority can be honestly described as
good natured - but there are some who are not. Mostly from overseas. Who
target this computer and try to put bluetooth on - I uninstalled it, more for
power saving than security, but removing it prevents a means of remote
monitoring and control. And they have to be within 10m with this old hardware.
They don't like solutions, other than what they caused the problems for, and
sometimes that's not what it's about, for example:
Building good roads, bridges and related works improves the economic viability
of a region. In Australia, John Howard started the defunding of rural roads to
destroy wealth, so the only remaining wealth would be in the cities. Those who
helped him at it (I was living on Sydney's North at the time, hearing goss from
within the Liberal Party), believed crushing family owned farms would enable
company owned farms, that could be listed on the stock exchange, and they could
invest. They didn't know it was to be the New York exchange.
We should, of course, be decoupling from that country - life was so much better
without them.
A long winded way of saying it's not the fault of any of you, but today's my
last social post.
