"Two buses. Seventy years apart.
On December 21, 1956, Rosa Parks rode a Montgomery bus on its first day of
desegregation. She sat under the gaze of white America after refusing to accept
second-class citizenship.
On July 4, 2026, another Black woman sat alone on a bus reportedly filled with
white supremacists traveling to a march in Washington, D.C.
Different decade. Different faces. Same message: Black existence is still
treated by some as something to monitor, intimidate, or control.
America celebrates 250 years of liberty. Black Americans have spent much of
those 250 years fighting to make those words apply to us too.
Different time. Same struggle."
-Larry Reid
Hopefully, the next president won't be someone who white supremacist
nationalists support.

quasi quasi quasi, the Rosa Parks photo was staged on 21st December long
afterwards, that's one of the news reporters in the photo.
And why is that bitch hogging the entire seat when those white pride boys might
want to sit down?

The Rosa Parks photo was a reenactment of the actual event because everyone at
the time wasn't carrying a camera around in their pocket. Now when shit happens
there's often photographic evidence which is a very good thing. No telling what
these Klansmen (yes, that's what they are) would've done back in the day when
they were able to lynch and disappear people with no witnesses. So very tough
with their face diapers though.
