Let me educate you on how this works. A not-for-profit, seeking to boost the
economics of the southern Stans in the former Soviet Space, specifically the
High Pamirs, discovered the incredible luxury of Yak down as a fibre. The
people who breed them, Kyrgyz, Turkoman and Karakalpak, had no idea there could
be a market. So, the not-for-profit imported a mill to turn the down into
fabric. They were suddenly accused of things by police and deported.
Now... what do you think happened to the mill? That's all bought and paid for?
Someone owns it...
Of course it could be just vindictiveness by a bureaucrat.
