I don't think many people from smaller nations realize how physically large the
U.S. is and in many places there is room for less expensive carparks such as the
local airport where I live, but in densely populated Los Angeles it does seem
like multistory parking garages at Dodger stadium would be better use of the
land. Even the county seat where I live with a population of around 25,000 has a
multistory parking garage. The entire county, though, has around 212,000 people,
much of it being very rural; Disney World and other "attractions" are
far away, and I like it like that.

Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord, North Carolina. One of my sons and his
family live near it and he works even closer. He's employed by Rick Hendrick
Group, Hendrick being one of the racing teams in NASCAR, though my son has
nothing to do with the racing.
