That notice is probably on there because some idiot did just that, injured himself and sued the screwdrivers' manufacturer and/or distributor. For awhile, one of the salesreps who sells products to the company I work for gave out free boxknives to people like me who work in warehouses and frequently need them. These knives had the reps name and phone number on them. Some dumbass cut himself and sued the rep for giving him the knife. No cash settlement but the rep is not allowed to give away the knives anymore. He does give away pens, though.......perhaps he should consider putting a non-insertion note on those.
