I used to where light gray tee shirts while working under the Florida sun with
suspenders (braces) to support my tool belt and enough UV rays made it through
the shirt that the suspenders left a light X on my back while the surrounding
area was lightly tanned.

Good thing we are mammals and it makes no fucking difference whatsoever what
colour shirt we wear out in the sun.

Colour seems to make no difference, in my testing, to ultraviolet light.
