I'd have first seen him in Jurassic Park most likely; didn't see HfRO until

I had wondered if his protracted fight against cancer had left him weakened and
then I saw this. Cancer treatment itself takes a hell of a toll, the
chemotherapy and radiation poison the body while they're killing the cancer. A
schoolmate of mine - his dad was actually principal of our high school when we
attended - told me a few years ago that the cancer cure killed both his parents
and this is how it happens.

After the cancer treatments had weakened his immune system, so, indirectly, the
cancer killed him anyway.
