To all of those who think Microsoft is trying to take over the world, consider how close Apple got to having an even bigger monopoly. They had sole rights to computers in schools and in the government. They had sole rights to both their hardware and OS. If it weren't for a court decision that allowed Windows 3.0, they would all but own us.
